Elizabeth Mendez ’13 won an Emmy for Outstanding Newscast last September for her work with Vice News Tonight. Mendez joined Vice in 2020 as a segment producer in the Washington, D.C. bureau. She moved back to New York City last year and continues to cover political stories from the company’s headquarters in Brooklyn.
