Meleana Shim ’13 is the assistant coach of the San José State University women’s soccer program. Shim previously played professionally with the Portland Thorns, where she signed in 2013. She scored her first professional goal just five weeks later against Seattle Reign FC. Shim was also part of two National Women’s Soccer League championship teams in Portland.
