New Management

Jose Martínez Saldaña ’85 will co-direct Radio Bilingüe, America’s oldest Latino radio network.

For the first time in 45 years, Radio Bilingüe, America’s oldest and largest Latino radio network, is changing leadership.

Jose Martínez Saldaña ’85 is taking up helm as co-director alongside founder and executive director Hugo Morales. For Martínez Saldaña, this position is another opportunity to continue the work he started many years ago for the Latino community.

“I saw that there is an organization that has a very strong foundation, that for decades has offered not only music but also a platform and an invitation to discuss topics that are very important to the community, not only to migrants but also to the Latino community in general,” Martínez Saldaña told the Fresno Bee.
