After 15 years in recruitment, building up U.S. companies’ teams and executive operations, Stephanie Brooks ’08 wanted to build something of her own.
“I spent 12 years helping Silicon Valley startups grow from two employees to IPO,” Brooks tells Poets&Quants. But “to be totally honest, I was pretty burnt out.”
So Brooks decided to get her global MBA at EDHEC Business School in France, where she also studied abroad during her undergrad years at SCU.
“The entrepreneurship program taught me how to turn an idea into a scalable product, market it, and finance it,” Brooks says. Today, she’s channeled those skills into founding her own agency, Rendez-Vous Partners, that helps French companies expand into the U.S. Market.
