Congratulations are in order for three Bronco alumni who received Alumni Awards for living out the Santa Clara ideals of competence, conscience, and compassion in their daily lives.

Ignatian Award: While many nonprofit social services organizations were shuttering during the pandemic, Scott Kerman ’89, the executive director of Blanchet House in Portland, Ore., found innovative ways to continue providing essential services to the unhoused.

Louis I. Bannan, S.J Award: J. Hilton ’96 is the co-founder and CEO of the Ambassadors Circle which delivers marketing and creative services to organizations providing crucial services like environmental preservation and victim advocacy.

Paul L. Locatelli, S.J. Award: In the notoriously cutthroat world of pro sports management, agent William Duffy ’82 is lauded for his humility, calmness, and genuine care. He mentors his athletes to be well-rounded people who give back to their communities.
