Jessica Perry ’97, J.D. ’00 was selected to be on the list of 2016 Women of Influence by the Silicon Valley Business Journal. These are women “who are changing Silicon Valley’s landscape in business, nonprofits, healthcare and professional services. Perry, a partner at Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe in Menlo Park, CA, represented venture capital firm Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers in a high-profile trial last year defeating gender discrimination claims brought by former partner Ellen Pao.
Sheila Hatch MBA '00 was selected to be on the list of 2016 Women of Influence by the Silicon Valley Business Journal. These are women “who are changing Silicon Valley’s landscape in business, nonprofits, healthcare and professional services.” Her best advice for others: Be open to input.
Matt Oscamou '01, founder and president of Frontier Snacks, Inc., will be the featured speaker at the Leavey School of Business Winter CIE Entrepreneur Forum, Monday, Feb. 8. His company makes bite-size, nutritious energy snacks that are gluten-, soy-, and dairy-free, and are non-GMO verified. They are available at Whole Foods and Sprouts stores.
Brendan O'Brien '01 and Lauren (Russell) O'Brien '02 welcomed their third child, Dylan Francis O'Brien, on Nov 4, 2015. Older brothers Liam (5) and Declan (2) are happy to share their toys with their new baby brother. The family currently resides in Burlingame, CA.
Reed (Dudley) Moll '01, husband Aaron Moll, and 2-year-old daughter Ledare welcomed their second child,William Alexander "Alex," on October 8, 2015.
Tania Rodriguez Alvarado '01 and her husband, Gonzalo Alvarado, moved to Austin, Texas, and purchased their first house in September 2015. They have three children together: Angelina, Isabelle, and Max.
Katie (Barlag) Ackerman '01 was recently promoted to president of Global Executive Group (GXG), a professional services firm dedicated to helping great leaders become extraordinary.
Sean Mendelson '02 has put out his third children's album, Love and Music, under the artist name Sean's Music Factory (www.seansmusicfactory.com). He is the director of a licensed Music Together Center in Santa Clara called Teacher Sean's Music Factory, which is for 0- to 4-year-olds and their respective caregivers. He also performs regularly throughout the South Bay and is working on a children's educational music series.
Anna (Kraus) Lydon '02 married Keith Lydon in Incline Village, NV, on April 16, 2016, at the St. Francis of Assisi Church.

Heidi A. (Shulse) Seely '03 has recently co-authored a book, The Boston Trustee, with Thomas E. Bator, of Nichols & Pratt, LLP. The Boston Trustee tells the story of a unique Boston institution where men and women who serve as individual professional trustees and are known universally as "Boston Trustees." Seely writes, "Essential reading for anyone interested in understanding trusts, the evolution of Boston as a financial and regional hub, and the establishment of professional trustees." Jennifer Renk J.D. '03 has been elevated from attorney to partner at Sheppard Mullin. She is a member of the Real Estate, Land Use and Environmental practice group in the San Francisco office. Renk's practice focuses on land use and environmental law, with particular expertise in the California Environmental Quality Act. She advises clients on the regulatory and political hurdles facing development projects across California, with an emphasis on commercial, residential, mixed-use, and high tech projects. Over the course of her career, Renk has worked on a diverse range of projects, including Facebook's Menlo Park Headquarters, the Bohannon Development Group's Menlo Gateway mixed-use project, the Carlyle Group's mixed-use project in Mountain View, as well as numerous multi-family developments and independent school projects across the Bay Area.
Mike Loza '03 married Julie (Silva) Loza on October 17, 2015, at Mission Santa Clara. Mike is the regional director of business development at Sanveo Inc. alongside CEO and fellow Bronco Ashfaq Rasheed '03.
Cynthia (Nulman) Gresser J.D. '03 has been promoted to chief deputy district attorney for the Santa Barbara County District Attorney's office. Gresser has been a deputy district attorney since 2006. During that time she successfully prosecuted a variety of serious cases including murder, criminal street gang crimes, major sex crimes, major narcotics, domestic violence, and elder abuse crimes. Cynthia was recognized as Deputy District Attorney of the Year in 2011 and received the Santa Maria Elk's Law Enforcement Appreciation award for Outstanding Performance in 2015.
Paul Chen M.S. '03 writes, "I just moved to north Chicago to go back into a government job, so I can retire early. I miss the Washington, D.C., Alumni Chapter."
Dan Winter ’04 has been accepted as a partner of California-based accounting and consulting firm Burr Pilger Mayer, Inc. With more than 10 years of experience in public accounting, Dan has served a variety of technology industries including software, internet media and SaaS, networking equipment, intellectual property, semiconductor and life science. Dan has extensive experience with equity and debt financing, including public offerings, business combinations, revenue recognition and SEC reporting and compliance. Dan is the vice-chair of BPM’s Technology Industry Group and a member of the Technical Committee. Dan recently spent a month travelling in New Zealand with his wife, including hiking across active volcanoes and whitewater rafting.
Carol Reiley ’04 was selected to be on the list of 2016 Women of Influence by the Silicon Valley Business Journal. These are women “who are changing Silicon Valley’s landscape in business, nonprofits, healthcare and professional services.” Reiley is developing artificial intelligence for self-driving cars, helping to usher in a new era of urban mobility. Reiley is the cofounder and President of drive.ai, a artificial intelligence self-driving car startup that recently closed its Series A fundraising round.
Leslie Osborne '05 and Ricky Lewis were married Nov. 21, 2015 in a private ceremony in the Mission Church. They had a bigger wedding on Jan. 22, 2016, in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.
Sarah (Boskovich) Villalobos '06 married Nicolas Villalobos at the Seascape Resort in Aptos, California, on Aug. 29, 2015. Fellow '06 classmates Kristin Siem Matthews, Mary Nadine Kane, and Kate Hitchcock '05 were bridesmaids.
