Approximately 300 boxes that arrived on campus Aug. 26 hold the history of an order, the Sisters of the Holy Family, whose pioneering work in childcare, social service, and education touched thousands in California, Nevada, and Hawaii. Nearly 150 years’ worth of history in bound volumes, video and audiotapes, textiles, and other records will now live in Santa Clara’s Archives and Special Collections, where they will be cataloged, cared for, and made available to researchers.
