About the Cover

That Kodak, and a vision for the future

The old Kodak camera was a parting gift, as Kevin O’Brien, S.J. left Georgetown to become the Dean of the Jesuit School of Theology. It was a reminder to think creatively, and perhaps to innovate more quickly than that great camera and film company did. On the cover, he’s now the 29th President of SCU. Through the viewfinder, he sees Beginnings and a blank slate on which to build Santa Clara’s future.
