BY SCM Staff 30 Jan 2003 The Santa Clara women’s basketball program will celebrate its 40th season with the 2003-04 campaign. Secondyear head coach Michelle Bento’s Broncos were tabbed in a preseason poll of WCC coaches to finish fifth, though the team is aiming for its seventh straight postseason appearance. Junior point guard Kayla Huss is one of the conference’s top returnees, and will be joined in the backcourt by fellow junior Quinn Thomas. Both ranked nationally last season with their three-point accuracy. The duo will lead a team that includes seven newcomers
