SCU clears the air. Campus is now tobacco-free.
The Mission Campus is tobacco-free, as of July 1. The new smoke-free policy prohibits on-campus smoking or use of cigarettes, hookahs, cigars, pipes, and any other tobacco product, including e-cigarettes and chewing tobacco. Nationwide, more than 1,500 campuses have enacted a smoke-free policy. SCU is in the process of installing temporary and permanent signs on campus to alert visitors to the new rules.
