SCM Staff 13 Jun 2008 It’s official: Santa Clara’s 2007 Solar Decathlon Team has been honored as Environmental Heroes by the regional office of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. The EPA office bestowed its Environmental Achievement Award upon the team at the 10th annual awards ceremony in San Francisco on April 9. The award recognizes those throughout several western states working to protect and preserve the environment. This year 130 organizations or individuals were nominated for the award and 29 recipients were selected. —HW
