The Bronco men’s basketball team, a young squad with just two seniors, finished the season with a 13-15 record and 4-10 mark in the West Coast Conference. Santa Clara finished the league season tied with Portland and Loyola Marymount for sixth in the league standings. Junior center Jim Howell was an honorable mention all-West Coast Conference selection, while sophomore guard Ethan Rohde earned Academic All-WCC honors. The Broncos were without the services of all-WCC guard Kyle Bailey for most of the season due to a back injury. The Broncos open next season’s schedule on Nov. 24-26 at the annual EA Sports Maui Invitational in Hawaii. Call 808-667-3865 or see www.mauiinvitational.com for ticket and travel package information.
