Everyone wants in on Santa Clara.

SCU set a new record with nearly 12,100 early-admission applications for the class of 2029, a 7% increase from last year.

Clearly, prospective students are catching on to what makes SCU special: rigorous academics, small class sizes, Jesuit values, and a dynamic Silicon Valley campus. With an average unweighted GPA of 3.86, nearly half of the admitted students are from outside California, and over 500 are first-generation college students. Additionally, almost 6% are international applicants.

Santa Clara ranks 63rd in National Universities in the 2025 U.S. News & World Report.
