Leslie Griffy 06 Apr 2023 Among the new commissioners named to the Arts and Culture Commission for Gilroy is Rubén Darío Villa ’10. The former first-generation college student sees his art as a form of storytelling and a way to curate and celebrate his Chicano heritage. The commission he joins is an advisory body that promotes arts in the community. Villa was appointed to serve for four years.
