Steve Nash ’96 has left the Bay Area, again.

Nash heads to New York as the new head coach of the Brooklyn Nets after five seasons as a player development consultant with the Golden State Warriors. In that time, the Warriors produced two NBA Championship teams and made four consecutive trips to the Finals.

As a player, Nash played 18 seasons with the Phoenix Suns, Dallas Mavericks, and Los Angeles Lakers. At the time of the announcement in September 2020,
