Money Makers

A Santa Clara degree pays off.

Turns out a Santa Clara education is not just good for the Earth—Broncos are taught to make the world a more just, sustainable place—it’s also good for the pocketbook. Santa Clara University ranks ninth out of 100 U.S. colleges whose graduates earn the most money, according to the data-tracker news website Stacker. Early career salaries for recent SCU grads average $71,100, per 2020 data from PayScale. Compare that with the national average starting salary of about $50,000, says a recent survey from the National Association of Colleges and Employers.
