Jessica Hilger 15 Mar 2020 A new STEM building, a new athletic center, a new residence hall, a new president—Kevin O’Brien S.J.—and a new ranking in the top 15 percent of U.S. News & World Report’s “Best Colleges Edition.” It’s an exciting time to be a Santa Clara Bronco—something the class of 2024 seemed to know before even graduating high school. With a record-breaking 8,280 early applicants, the University has broken the 8,000-mark for the first time. Of this pool, 55.5 percent were accepted. About 9,000 more applicants are expected in the regular admissions period.
