A New Lease on Life

Bronco parents Tim Long and Casey O’Connor have given a new lease on life to The Hut—literally.

The venerable off-campus haunt known to generations of SCU grads is being reborn as a restaurant. We broke the news on social media in February. Here’s the scoop.

Long and O’Connor have signed a lease for the space that was home to The Hut for decades, with plans to begin a new era with a new tradition—great food. Long and O’Connor are the fathers of Santa Clara Broncos Baseball alumni Ian O’Connor ’06 and Matt Long ’06.
