Full Swing The new Wipfler Family Golf Facility is leveling up SCU’s golf game. Valerie Braylovskiy ’25 14 Jan 2025 Santa Clara University’s golf teams are leveling up with the new Wiplfer Family Golf Facility. Located by Kerr Alumni Park, the $2.5 million facility will include the Linda and Joe Bronson Team Lounge, along with the state-of-the-art Degheri Putt Lab. Student athletes can also perfect their game with the McCarthy Short Game Area, an artificial turf area attached to the indoor facility. Former Director of Athletics Renee Baumgartner called it a “game changer” for the golf programs. “Not only does it serve as a functional space for our student-athletes to excel, but it also stands as a testament to the unwavering support of our golf community towards achieving excellence,” she said.
