Society and pop culture would have us believe the wealthiest college graduates went to Ivy League schools. But recent data suggests success—and all its (money) markers—can spring from other places.

Santa Clara University is one such place. We ranked No. 7 among the top U.S. colleges whose graduates go on to earn the most, according to the compensation software company Payscale, which looked at the education and employment histories of 3 million college graduates. Schools were ranked according to alumni’s median salaries in the first five years of their career.

Typically, Santa Clara University graduates find employment within just six months of graduation and top employers for graduates include several big names like Cisco, Amazon, Oracle, and Google. Many also bring home top-dollar salaries with early career pay landing around $91,000 and mid-career pay at $179,500.

One major program that helps new grads and alumni find success is Bronco Exchange, an exclusive networking platform that connects job seekers with mentorship opportunities and career guidance. Santa Clara also provides various resources for job counseling and job hunting via their Job Portal and Career Center. The Alumni Association and Career Center also provides career webinars to fulfill any other career needs from skill-building sessions to professional networking.
