Santa Clara men‘s basketball great Josip Vrankic ’21 is returning to his home country as he signs on with the Vancouver Bandits.

Canada is rolling out the “welcome back” mats for Josip Vrankic ’21.

The Toronto native officially signed with the Vancouver Bandits of the Canadian Elite Basketball League (CEBL). A highly decorated forward, Vrankic started 131 games for the Broncos—the most in program history—and played 137 total games.

He also ranks third all-time on the Broncos’ scoring list with 1,817 points and is inside the top 10 in rebounding. Vrankic joins the Bandits after pro stints in Italy and Spain.
