SCM Staff 16 Oct 2024 Decorated coach Manny Rapkin is donning SCU-red as the next head coach for the men’s lacrosse team. Rapkin previously coached for Grand Canyon University, Vassar College, and Southern New Hampshire University. His teams have won two Men’s Collegiate Lacrosse Association (MCLA) Division I National Championships and five Southwestern Lacrosse Conference championships. Rapkin has also coached 40 All-American and All-Conference players and two current National Lacrosse League players. “I have profound respect for the University, current team members, and alumni,” Rapkin said in a press release with the MCLA. “Everything is in place for a successful future, and I am anxious to get to work and get this team ready to perform on game day.”
