Rising Ranks

SCU soccer’s Damani Osei ’23 played internationally with the Jamaican National Team over the summer.

Damani Osei ‘23, a senior on the Santa Clara men’s soccer team, was recruited by the Jamaican National Team to play in an international mini-tournament in Austria over the summer.

He holds dual citizenship in the U.S. and Jamaica making him eligible to play nationally.

Osei is known for holding the record for the fastest goal in SCU history by scoring 24 seconds into the winning 2021 WCC Championship match against Portland.

The central defender has impressively made his way from an All-West Coast Conference pick to being included in NCAA’s “Top 100 Players to Watch” list and continues to make the Broncos proud.
