SCU Volleyball star Julia Sangiacomo ’23 held her own on the court against actual Olympic athletes.

The U.S. Olympic Women’s Volleyball team drilled with some of the best before the Tokyo games: the 28 college athletes of the U.S. Women’s Collegiate National Team, among them Julia Sangiacomo ’23. The outside hitter spent a portion of her summer in Anaheim competing with the national team. The U.S. women went on to take gold against Brazil. Sangiacomo returned to SCU, often leading the team in kills on the court.
