Leslie Griffy 25 Oct 2021 After 29 years with one of the most successful companies on earth, Ed Grier knows a thing about business. From Tokyo to Paris, working with the Walt Disney Co. built experience in global markets, brand management, capital projects, and government relations. Now, as dean of the Leavey School of Business, he’s bringing that magic and expertise to Silicon Valley. “From my first interactions with our students, it was evident that SCU develops compassionate leaders who harness innovative thinking and make a difference in the world. I am eager to work alongside our faculty and staff as we empower our students to do just that.” Before joining SCU, Grier led the business school at Virginia Commonwealth University, where he oversaw the creation of an online program and new degree programs.
