Five players earn all-league softball honors Closing out with a 26-31 record. SCM Staff 30 Oct 2005 The Santa Clara softball team, under first-year head coach Jaime Forman-Lau, finished its season with a 26-31 record, and a 9-11 mark in Pacific Coast Softball Conference action. The Broncos’ schedule included games against seven nationally-ranked opponents, including defending national champion UCLA. In that March 6 contest, the Broncos led 5-4 late in the game before falling to the Bruins, 6-5. Senior outfielder Jessica Clee and second baseman Jenny Brown earned all-PCSC second-team honors while Liz Courter, Shannon Linerud, and Daisy Mettlach earned honorable mention recognition.
