Nicole Bugna-Doyle '95 is a Graham's Foundation NICU Ambassador for UCLA Santa Monica Hospital. The Graham's Foundation empowers parents of premature babies through support, advocacy, and research to improve outcomes for their preemies and themselves. Nicole writes, "Any alumni or friends you know who have had a preemie or micro preemie and would like support or resources, feel free to contact me or go to GrahamsFoundation.org."
Justin Beck '95 and his wife Betty welcomed their second child, Brewer, into their family at Thanksgiving in 2014. He joins big brother Evan on the team. Justin is currently the Chief of Staff for the Pabst Brewing Company based in Los Angeles.
Jimmy Panetta J.D. '96 is a candidate for the 20th Congressional District, located on the California Central Coast. The district includes Monterey and San Benito Counties, and portions of Santa Cruz and Santa Clara Counties.
Panetta lives in his hometown of Carmel Valley. After attending local public schools, Panetta graduated from Monterey Peninsula College, U.C. Davis, and Santa Clara University School of Law.
Panetta works as a prosecutor at the Monterey County District Attorney’s Office. Prior to that, he worked as a prosecutor in Oakland, California. He also is involved in a number of community activities concerning Veterans, at-risk youth, local colleges, and the Monterey Bay Marine Sanctuary.
Panetta served in the United States Navy Reserve as an Intelligence Officer for eight years. During that time, Lieutenant Panetta was mobilized and deployed to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. Based on his work for a Special Forces task force, he was awarded the Bronze Star for meritorious service.
Panetta serves on the Board of Directors for the Monterey County Veterans Transition Center, the Central Coast Veterans Cemetery Foundation, Rancho Cielo Youth Campus, the Community Foundation of Monterey County, the National Steinbeck Center, and on the Advisory Council for the Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary. He also serves as a trustee on the University of California at Santa Cruz Foundation and chairs the Monterey Peninsula College Citizens Bond Oversight Committee.

Ollie Mamaril '96 was recently promoted to senior motion graphic designer for CBS' Decades TV Network. He, his wife (Sara), and their cat (Rolls) live in Chicago.
Michelle (Despres) Jaeger '96 and husband, Jens Jaeger welcomed Liam Jackson on Jan 29, 2015. He joins sisters Sydney, age 2 and Madison, age 4. Michelle is a Realtor on the Peninsula and Jens is in Marketing at Google.
Matt Hansink '96 along with wife, Holly, and 6-year-old son, Quinton, moved back to Portland, OR. Matt is a marketing consultant for Bridge Partners Consulting.
The Hispanic Foundation of Silicon Valley has awarded the Jose Luis and Ofelia Guerrero family with its La Familia Award for deep-rooted commitment and involvement in the community. Among the family members honored were Martha Guerrero Soto '85, Veronica Guerrero Wildanger '88, MBA '96, and Ignacio J. Guerrero '95. Martha is principal at Mount Pleasant High School, Veronica homeschools and volunteers in the arts, and Ignacio is director of Child Support Services for the County of Santa Clara. Other siblings honored included Jose Luis, retired battalion chief for the city of San Jose, and Juan Carlos, reporter for ABC News.
Dr. Shana Fogarty '96 writes, "My husband and I just adopted our second son (Carter) in January 2015. We adopted our older son (Matthew) in February 2009. I work as a hospitalist and hospice medical director. We're celebrating our 10th anniversary next week. We've enjoyed the last 11 years in the Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, community."
Michelle Andre '96 joined Virtual Incentives as the VP of Marketing in the fall of 2015. She also was recently awarded a prestigious Stevie Award for Female Executive of the Year, as well as the Marketing Executive of the Year award from the highly competitive Best in Biz awards. Michelle and her husband, Sean Creane, their son, Niko (age 9), daughter, Nadia (age 4), and their cat, Hooligan, split their time between the mountains of Oregon and the beautiful San Francisco Bay Area.
Jessica Perry ’97, J.D. ’00 was selected to be on the list of 2016 Women of Influence by the Silicon Valley Business Journal. These are women “who are changing Silicon Valley’s landscape in business, nonprofits, healthcare and professional services. Perry, a partner at Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe in Menlo Park, CA, represented venture capital firm Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers in a high-profile trial last year defeating gender discrimination claims brought by former partner Ellen Pao.

Jeff Cleveland '97 has joined the growing investment banking team of D.A. Davidson & Co as managing director in its Consumer and Retail sector. Cleveland works out of the Seattle office, where he leads the firm’s food, beverage and agriculture practice, in addition to his responsibilities in the broader consumer industry.
Cleveland has more than a decade of leadership experience in the food and beverage and consumer investment banking market, previously as a founding member of Harris Williams & Co.’s Minneapolis office along with its global food and beverage and consumer investment banking practices. Recently, Cleveland established the food, beverage, and agriculture practice for a Seattle, WA boutique investment bank. Cleveland earlier worked in Piper Jaffray & Co.’s investment banking group.

Angie Little '98 welcomed her first baby, Bennett James on January 1, 2015. Bennett weighed 6 lbs 11 oz and was 21" long.
Imelda (Wong) Kortens '98 and Jediah welcomed their second child, Jessica Celine, to the world on September 9, 2015. Imelda, Jed, and Jessica live in San Jose with Jessica's big brother, Jackson.
Brian Fukumoto MBA '98 has been hired as VP of WW Manufacturing Operations & Supply Chain at FINsix. Fukumoto will oversee day-to-day global operations to ensure timely supply of high quality product for FINsix's retail and OEM (original equipment manufacturer) customers. He brings to the company over 25 years experience in manufacturing and supply chain operations. Most recently, Fukumoto was vice president of global supply chain and operations at DataDirect Networks, overseeing end-to-end supply chain execution for DDN's storage systems and solutions. Prior to DDN, Fukumoto held a variety of executive leadership roles for HP, Palm, Tasman Networks, and Solectron Corporation.
Religious studies professor Socorro Castañeda-Liles '98 recently shared her inspiring life story in Visión magazine, from a grim childhood in Mexico to a career in academia. She's currently working on a book about the Catholic devotion of Latinas to be published by Oxford University Press, and co-editing a volume of stories by artists, academics, professionals, and entrepreneurs who share similar stories about coming to the United States. Her husband is Josef Castañeda-Liles, development research director at SCU, and they have a daughter. Socorro is also a co-founder of the Sacred Heart Parish Computer Center and a founding member of the San Jose's Parque de Padre Mateo Sheedy commitee.
