On December 16, 2020, William Schmitz ’64, died at the age of 80. He was a proud graduate of Downey High School and Santa Clara University. Bill settled in Los Gatos where he founded his own company and for which he worked until his last days. Bill relocated to Modesto in 1982 where he settled for the remainder of his life. He had a great love for nature, was an avid hunter, and enjoyed his family, family of friends, travel and a good book. Bill is survived by his wife, four children, siblings, and grandchildren.
