1980

The spotlights always shone brightly upon William Quinlan ’80. A lifelong thespian with over 200 acting credits and nearly 100 directing assignments, Bill performed in all aspects of theater. Throughout his career, he worked alongside great talents at performances in New York and wrote manuscripts as well as screenplays. From his early theater days onward, Bill thrived on sharing his vision with the audience, and he did the same as he battled cancer. Through his blog “The Cancer Chronicles,” Bill hoped his testimonies would inspire others to never give up. Bill died on Oct. 15, 2023, and is survived by family, including cousin Andrew Quinlan ’07.
