With a Ph.D. from Harvard, William Pisano ’62 was a dedicated civil and environmental engineer. Bill loved his home of Belmont, Mass., and served on the Conservation Commission for several decades. He also served on the board of the Woodwell Climate Research Center. For over 54 years, Bill was a devoted husband to Rosemary Hoey-Pisano and a caring father. An outstanding engineer, mentor, and friend, Bill’s work transformed neighborhoods, enhancing lives in ways that, while not always visible, were profoundly impactful. Bill died on March 26, 2024, and is survived by cousin Daniel Caputo ’67.
