William (Bill) S. Boyle Jr. ’51 was an amazing and loving husband, father/father-in-law to Peter Roca, and grandfather to Will, Ben, and Lainey. He was born and raised in San Francisco, and still attended his St. Ignatius High School reunions and loved catching up with old friends. He was an avid fisherman and happiest on the water. In his later years he especially loved was watching his grandchildren play sports and grow. On Dec. 30, 2012, he passed peacefully with his wife of 52 years, Elene (Sue), and his daughter, Susan Roca, by his side. He was will be greatly missed by all who loved him, and will always be remembered for his jokes and his sweet smile.
