San Jose State University recently appointed Vishnu Pendyala Ph.D. ’18 to its academic senate. He will serve on the senate through Spring 2026. Pendyala teaches machine learning and other applied data science courses to graduate students of the Master’s in Data Analytics program at SJSU. He is also the current chair of the IEEE Computer Society Santa Clara Valley chapter and IEEE Computer Society Distinguished Contributor.
