Vinita Bali J.D. ’96, LLM ’07 has been appointed to judge in the Santa Clara County Superior Court. Bali has had an extensive career in law, previously serving as international counsel in the Office of the General Counsel at Stanford University and senior director of risk strategies in Stanford’s Office of the Chief Risk Officer. She has also been a lecturer at Santa Clara University School of Law. Prior to that, Bali held the position of director of global programs at Stanford Law School and dean of international student programs at Foothill-DeAnza Community College District.
