Victor Rice ’73 was a star player on SCU’s Rugby team, as well playing many other sports. After graduation, Vic partnered with his long-time friend, Bill Gleason, to establish Pacific Forest Resources. An internationally known race car driver, Vic raced in Europe, as well as in Australia, Canada, and throughout the United States. Racing was his passion and he podiumed many times during his racing career. He also loved to cycle, golf, snow ski, scuba, waterski, and just about any sport that would come his way. Vic was always up for an adventure. Vic died Jan. 20, 2022 and is survived by his family including sister Maziebelle Rice ’75.
