Known for his warmth, bright spirit, and gift for friendship, Victor LoBue ’57 filled his days with family gatherings and service to many organizations, all while holding a special place in his heart for his alma mater as a long-serving member of the SCU Board of Fellows. Victor joined his father at Caldo Oil Company in San Jose after graduation, eventually becoming president before retiring in 1996. He was a devoted husband to Marijoe, and they were married for nearly 55 years. Vic died on Sep. 2, 2025, and is survived by family, including daughter Michelle LoBue ’88.
