Tom Douglas MBA ’84 has joined the executive team at AM General as senior VP, Business Development and Strategy. AM General designs, engineers, manufactures, supplies and supports specialized vehicles for commercial and military customers. In his role, Douglas will be responsible for the oversight and strategic direction of the company’s international and domestic military business development and program management. He will be located in AM General’s Washington, D.C., office.
Douglas has more than 32 years of extensive experience in business development with heavy emphasis on international markets within the defense industry. He comes to AM General from DRS Technologies, where he held the position of Corporate Vice President, Integration and International Business Development. Prior to DRS he held key leadership positions at Northrop Grumman and Lockheed Martin.
A 1975 graduate of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, Douglas holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering, as well as a Master of Business Administration from Santa Clara University. Douglas and his wife Judy reside in Annapolis, Maryland.
