1986

The Flaming Lips,  Cat Power, the Beastie Boys, and Green Day are just a few of the bands that rocked San Francisco’s Bottom of the Hill, a concert venue founded and owned by Timothy Benetti ’86 and his brother Dave. The pair opened the space for upcoming bands and big names in 1991 after Tim had already gone into law. He attended UC Hastings College of the Law in the same class as Vice President Kamala Harris. Tim served as SF City Attorney in the early aughts. Both careers gave him a cherished extended family. Deeply part of the City scene and a sports fan, Tim held the Giants, 49ers, and Warriors dear with a special lifelong love of baseball. He died Jan. 11, 2023.
