Always by the side of Thomas Weldon ’59 was Antonia Alma Bertero Weldon, who was born 9 days after him and grew up some two blocks away from his childhood home. The two shared the same bassinet, attended primary and secondary school together, in addition to attending colleges in the Bay Area.  Devout members of the Catholic Church, they attended mass daily, and they enjoyed the Carmel Mission. They were never far from family and friends. Thomas maintained his physical and mental health until the end and he died July 27, 2022.
