Thomas Reese M.S. ’74 was known for his graciousness, a cheerful disposition even in difficult and trying circumstances. Aside from his family, Thomas loved the outdoors, particularly fishing, camping, and hiking. He especially liked hiking in the Tetons of Wyoming, Jackson Hole, Island Park areas, and along the Lemhi River in Idaho. He led a distinctive career as a motivational speaker and later as a math teacher in several junior high schools in Salt Lake City and surrounding areas. Thomas was fascinated with problem solving using the Golden Ratio of Universal Creation theories of famous mathematicians and scientists such as Leonardo Da Vinci’s Vitruvian Man; Leonardo Fibonacci; and Dr. George Polya. Thomas died on July 6, 2022.
