Thomas G. Petit ’77 is a graduate of SCU, where he received a B.S. in business marketing and management; he also earned an MBA from Pepperdine University. For more than 28 years, Tom worked in executive positions for interactive entertainment industry leaders, such as Atari Inc., Nintendo, and Sega USA. He was co-founder of Sega USA and served eight years as president and CEO of the company. In August 2004, Tom retired from the video game industry and relocated to Durango, Colorado, to begin a new career in ranch real estate development as the president of TGP Investments, LLC. He was a passionate fly fisherman, scuba diver and outdoorsman who passed away on Nov. 21, 2017, at his home in Durango. He is survived by his wife, Nancy Petit.
