There were two staples in the life of Thomas May J.D. ’81: the law and his family. Tom spent countless hours studying constitutional law and American history. He practiced real estate law in California for 18 years and continued practicing even in his twilight years at a small firm in San Diego. When he wasn’t practicing, Tom could be found editing papers for the Santa Clara Law Review as editor-in-chief. Though law was his lifelong passion, he was happiest when cooking for friends and family. There was nothing he enjoyed more than their company or listening to classic American Blues.
