Terry Trucco ’74 has launched a web site featuring news and reviews of New York City hotels called Overnight New York www.overnightnewyork.com. A long-time travel writer, Terry lived overseas for nearly a decade in Tokyo and London and has reviewed hotels for The New York Times, Travel & Leisure and The International Herald Tribune, among other places. Written specially for the Web, Terry’s reviews- 87 and counting at this writing- capture the look and feel of each property and alert readers to red flags like musty showers, tiny rooms and the $10 glass of orange juice. In addition to reviews, the site includes a twice-weekly blog of news, tips and cultural events relating to New York and its lodging establishments. Terry lives in New York with her husband Steve Lohr, a reporter for The New York Times, and their 15-year-old daughter Nikki, a high school sophomore.
