Sydney Marchack ’67, M.S. ’69 lived a life of global adventure. Born in Guangzhou, China, he lived there until the age of 11 before moving to Trinidad. He later spent several years in London for training before moving to the United States to complete his education. Sydney worked as a systems engineer for the Santa Clara Valley Water District, specializing in flood control. Beyond his professional work, he was an aficionado of the 1965 Ford Mustang, which led him to turn his hobby into an entrepreneurial venture, becoming a sought-after source for rare Mustang parts and accessories. Sydney died on Feb. 4, 2025.
