Steve Bland ’86 writes: “After experimentation working as an intern on Capitol Hill, I wandered into a career in advertising after graduating with my degree in History. Spent the next 17 years working at Chiat/Day in LA, SF and NY. In 2005, I changed things up and left the corporate world, spent the summer in Paris and went on an on-line dating binge. Fortunately, I got married in 2007 to my wife Connie. We had three day wedding event in Pittsburgh (and, a few Broncos showed up!). For the last year, I’ve been running my advertising business off a movie studio lot. I’m still married. I live in Pasadena.”
