Stephen M. Zamucen MBA ’73 was born in Oakland on Aug. 24, 1950. He received his B.S. from UC Santa Barbara and his MBA from SCU. Steve worked as a CPA and started his own firm over 35 years ago. He acquired many credentials and published several books, becoming well respected in the field of forensic accounting. He spent countless hours raising money for charities close to his heart. Steve’s main purpose in life was taking care of those he loved. This started at the young age of 14 when his father became ill, and continued throughout his life. He loved sports and enjoyed swimming, running, tennis, skiing, and competing in triathlons. Steve was a devoted husband and father who will be forever loved and deeply missed by Sheila, his best friend and wife of 37 years, his three adoring children, Andrea (Tyler Kent), Olya, and Eric, along with several nieces and nephews and many beloved friends. Died died on Sept. 14, 2019, and was predeceased by his parents Commander Blase and Stephanie Zamucen and sisters Janet and Susie.
