At 37, Stephanie L. Jamieson J.D. ’10 is the youngest person to ever sit on the Merced County Superior Court. In November 2021, Gov. Gavin Newsom ’89 appointed her to fill the vacant seat. Previously, Jamieson was a deputy public defender in Merced County, a leader in the misdemeanor unit at the public defender’s office and in developing a homeless court in the county.
