On February 4, 2021, Sharon Lee Herrgott M.A. ’77, beloved wife, daughter, sister, friend, and aunt, passed away from pancreatic cancer, at the age of 79. Born in Spokane, Washington, Sherry graduated from Miami University (Ohio) with a B.S. in education and taught sixth grade for 20 years in both Denver and Sunnyvale. Then, Sherry moved to Apple and Electronic Arts, focusing on the education of school age children’s products. She received her M.A. from Santa Clara University, and co-founded and directed Educare Learning Center, and founded Herrgott Associates, an independent consulting firm specializing in personal development workshops. Sherry married John Herrgott in 1975. They were married for 33 years until his passing in January 2008.
