The Portland Business Journal named Scott Kerman ’89 as one of its 2022 “Executives of the Year,” an honor that acknowledges outstanding leadership of C-suite leaders in Oregon. As Executive director of Blanchet House, Scott works with social services leaders to bring life-saving aid to people experiencing homelessness, addiction, food, and housing insecurity. Kerman was instrumental in leading Blanchet House through a seamless transition to to-go meal services when the COVID pandemic began. Blanchet House has served the homeless community in Portland for 70 years, supported by Portland SCU alumni and student volunteers.
