Sarsfield Kelly ’56 died Feb. 13. At Santa Clara, Kelly played basketball and met LaVerne Moresco for the first time, even though they had only lived a block and a half from each other while growing up in San Francisco. The pair fell in love. Kelly went on to teach and coach at Jefferson High School and was inducted into the Daly City Sports Hall of Fame in 2006 for his contributions to mentoring young athletes. Kelly was also a travel agent and traveled to every continent, except Antarctica, with his wife and four kids.
