Sandra Foster Hall ’83 was born on Sept. 6, 1961, in Honolulu to Sylvia and Frank Foster. She grew up in Cupertino, graduated from Cupertino High School, and earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing from SCU. After graduating, Sandy moved to Australia and built a career in marketing. Over ten years she rose to become a senior executive at Northwest Country Credit in Bendigo, Victoria. She worked for five years at advertising firm Harris and Harris, before building her own successful marketing services firm, Hall of Fame Marketing. Sandy also taught marketing and sports marketing at Latrobe University in Victoria, Australia. Sandy met David Hall playing soccer in 1989, married in 1992, and raised two children, Layne and Loryn. She led an active life, swimming or doing something physical every day. She continued to pursue her sense of adventure and travelled across the globe with her family, friends, and partner. Sandy worked and played hard; she could always be counted on to organize activities and bring people together. She lived life to the fullest. Sandy passed away unexpectedly on April 5, 2018, near her home in Bendigo. She is survived by her children, Loryn and Layne, mother Sylvia Lewis, sister Shareen Foster Young ’81, brother Steve Foster ’84, sister-in-law Jill Foster ’86, brother-in-law Richard Young, niece Kirsten Foster, and nephews Matthew Foster ’16 and James Young.
